It’s That Feeling That You Never Want to End…

because you’re afraid that you’ll never experience it again. I remember clearly last week brushing the Glow in The Dark Tour off. “It doesn’t matter if I go, not really a big deal.” Now, I’m conflicted between if that was because of who I was speaking to or if I was really in a state of mind to pass on a phenomenal event. I am beyond pleased I didn’t. The show took place in Camden, NJ/Philly. Philly, really. I’ve been to many concerts, from my first Cash Money/Ruff Ryders show to Jay-z and 50 Cent’s Roc The Mic tour – but nothing – nothing at all touches the amazing performance that Kanye West brings. His signature teddy bear was not insight, no Japanese designs, no cliche glow in the dark stage, no bands – just Yeezy and his spaceship, Jane. Really, it will leave you in awe, total lack of speech. He didn’t smile the entire show, so theatrical. And the only thing that you can really do was – feel him. It makes you feel like a kid again. Jumping up and down shamelessly, rapping along every lyric – looking around only to see everyone else is losing their mind just the same. Passion. This show’ll make you think about yourself, your life outside of the arena. It was awesome. Amazing. Phenomenal. Just can’t get over it. Oh, and his book he wrote with J. Sakiya Sandifer goes something like

when a person says, “what, you don’t trust me?”
do you find yourself thinking, I did before you asked me that.

or

believe in your flyness…conquer your shyness.

thank you and you’re welcome, Mr. West.

more pictures after the jump, pardon the blurriness, but the VIP box is like, so much better for viewing than taking pics of the icon with my Nikon, with his air Yeezy Nikes on.

    I dont rap.
    but I rapped that night.
I knew every lyric, I felt every word.
    phenomenal.

I couldnt take it, really. there was too much “amazingness ” in one set.
but elle, holding your hand and sharing joyful tears put the ice on my cake.
